One Chord Wonders

Welcome to One Chord Wonders: The Encyclopedia of New Wave, Punk, Post-Punk, Oi!, Psychobilly, Garage, Goth, Industrial, Indie, Electronica, Mod and Ska, 1975-1985. From The Adverts to The Zones and everything in-between; the bands, the musicians, the recordings and releases, the gigs, the fanzines, books and the films. With dedicated pages for every aspect of punk and new wave, and the genres they spawned, this website will, hopefully, become the last word on the subject; the archive of all that we remember.

This website is created and maintained by its users, and everyone can add something to the content, whether it's a single sentence or picture, a quick edit, or a great raft of pages. We have a members' forum and a blog, to which all members can post. If you think you've got anything to contribute to any of the pages here, then please join the site. Please only include bands who were active and released or recorded material between the years 1975 and 1985. Information relating to any other years should only be used briefly to place things into context.
